What we collect, and how we handle it.

When you register, we record your eligibility and research-use declarations, acceptance of our terms, and acknowledgment of this privacy notice, together with the time and policy version. We use these records to administer your account and document your acknowledgments. Registering does not enroll you in marketing emails.

This policy explains the information Bio Pointe Life Sciences collects when you use this site, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to account creation, ordering, email updates, and support.

Information we collect

Account details you provide: name or organization, email, account type, and password (stored hashed).
Order details: items, shipping destinations, billing reference, and order history.
Payment metadata: the payment method selected and limited references such as the last four digits of a card. Full payment credentials are handled by our payment providers, not stored by Bio Pointe.
Support content: your name, email, topic, message, and any product reference or order number you submit through the contact form or account support.
Email preferences: your email address, signup source, subscription status, and interactions with messages when you choose to receive updates.
Technical data: session identifiers and standard request logs used to operate the site securely.

How we use it

We use this information to create and secure your account, process and fulfill orders, provide COA and order support, send updates you requested, measure and improve those messages, prevent fraud and misuse, and meet legal and research-use-only compliance obligations.

How we share it

We share information only as needed to run the business: with fulfillment partners to ship your order, with payment providers to process payment, with email delivery providers to deliver requested updates and honor opt-outs, and where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and sessions

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and to remember your cart. These are required for the site to function and are not used for third-party advertising.

When Meta Pixel is enabled, we separately ask permission to use marketing cookies to measure visits from Facebook and Instagram campaigns. If you accept, Meta receives public storefront page-view information and browser and advertising identifiers. This integration does not send account details, form entries, or payment information. You can decline and still browse and order, or change your choice using Cookie preferences in the footer. Browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals keep marketing tracking off.

When optional analytics or advertising tags are enabled, they also wait for marketing consent and load only on public storefront pages. These providers may receive page activity, browser identifiers, and campaign information. They are not loaded on contact, account, checkout, admin, or email-verification pages. Declining marketing cookies prevents these optional tags from loading; changing your choice stops future loading but cannot retract information already sent to a provider.

Data retention

We retain account and order records for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting, and compliance purposes. You can request deletion through account support, subject to records we are required to keep.

Your choices

Product availability notices are optional, one-time requests separate from marketing subscriptions. We store the requested product, vial size, notice type, and confirmation status. Confirm the request by email before an update is sent, and use its email link to cancel.

You can review and update your saved details from your account, change your password at any time, unsubscribe or manage preferences from the link in every marketing email, and contact support to request access to or deletion of your information. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional account, order, security, or shipping notices.

Security

Passwords are stored hashed, and access to order and account data is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
